Dzērves Hill is situated next to Lake Dzērves, and its top is 203 m above the sea level. The 27-metre-high sightseeing tower provides an excellent possibility to enjoy the beautiful views both of the Alūksne Highland and the Haanja Highland in Estonia. The sightseeing tower is open 24 hours a day. There are oak forests on the slope of the hill. According to some information, there were four God’s oak trees on Dzērves Hill where people brought flowers in ancient times. The archives of the Board of Monuments possesses a letter of R.Millers which he wrote in 1925, telling the following: “The Korneti manor dancing-party participants made a fire in the hollow of the old oak tree to light up their dance place. The tree was burning for five days.” It seems that the rest of the God’s oak trees had had the same fate.
