Farmstead “Arāji”

The farmstead, surrounded by majestic trees, can be found in Grūbe near the Vidzeme motorway. The hard-working, inventive lady of the house has learned the ancient country crafts. She kneads bread in an authentic wooden kneading trough and bakes it in the bread oven on maple leaves, collected by herself. She will also show you the basics of how to weave a colourful scarf, and will gladly tell you about the objects of interest in the nearby area.

You are welcome to pitch your tent in the meadow nearby, where there is an original summer house built for the enjoyment of children.
